Overview

This was developed for the 2021 Global Game Jam. It’s been a long day of babysitting. So naturally, you took the lil stinkers to the William Darque local park. You’ve heard some . . . unfriendly things about the area. Should be fine. Only problem is you fell asleep on a bench watching them run around for ages. You wake up realizing it's pitch dark and after closing hours. Better find the kids before they get hurt, or worse--you lose your job. However, a sense of the unfriendly things at this hour seem to add to your troubles. Explore the Dark Park and find the lost kids!

  • Designed and programmed HUD (inventory items, rescued children)
  • Programmed interactive popup graphics (action icon, objective messages)
Level Design
  • Designed entire park layout scene
  • Set atmosphere lighting and visibility
  • Placed all interactive objects in map
2D and 3D art
  • Created all 2D sprites and graphics (HUD icons, children, demon children, living statue, security guard)
  • Created lamps and building models
